In the episode of Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Varun Dhawan reveals the name of his daughter is Lara. The actor joined filmmakers Raj and DK to promote their upcoming Prime Video series, Citadel: Honey Bunny. In a special mention for the Diwali episode, Amitabh noted that this year’s celebration is particularly significant for the Dhawan family, remarking, “This Diwali is very special for you, Varun, as Lakshmi ji has arrived at your home.”

To this, Varun expressed his gratitude with a respectful gesture, folding his hands in thanks. He said, “We named her Lara. I’m still learning to connect with her; as you said, everything changes when a baby comes home.”

Amitabh Bachchan’s parenting advice

During the show, Varun sought some parenting advice from Amitabh as well. He also asked BigB about the challenges of parenthood, inquiring whether late nights were a concern when his children, Abhishek and Shweta, were young. Amitabh offered a light-hearted piece of advice: “I’ll tell you one thing, just keep your wife happy…If she is happy, everything will go well in life. This is a single formula — Wife is supreme.”

Varun-Natasha embraces parenthood

Actor Varun Dhawan’s wife and designer Natasha Dalal gave birth to a baby girl on June 3 in a Mumbai hospital. The actor took to Instagram to share the arrival of his baby girl. Varun captioned the post, “Our baby girl is here, Thank u for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby”. He shared the first photo with his daughter on Father’s Day. Varun gave a partial glimpse of his baby.

Earlier this year, on Father’s Day, Varun paid tribute to his new role by sharing a heartfelt message for his daughter. He wrote, “Happy Father’s Day. My father taught me that the best way to celebrate this day is by going out there and working for your family so Il be doing just that. Couldn’t be happier to be a girl dad.”
